The download address is:
http://www.argentdata.com/files/tnc_test_cd_ver1.0.zip
for the file in Easy CD Creator
.CIF format.
A mirror server in Europe has both these files at:
http://ireland.aprs2.net/TNCtest/tnc_test_cd_ver1.0.zip
for the file in Easy CD Creator .CIF format.
Click on one of the blue links below to initiate a browser-based HTTP download.
The actual size of the downloaded ZIP file is exactly 541,103,074 bytes. The normal file list display in Windows will produce a rounded-off approximation of this size. Typically this will be about "530 MB". The size reported will vary depending on the file system (FAT or NTFS), size of the disk partition, and size of the clusters on your hard disk. Right-click the file name in the Windows File Explorer, and choose "Properties" to get both the exact file size in bytes, and the size occupied on the hard disk.
The decompressed file
TNC_Test_CD_Ver1.0.CIF, extracted from the CIF zip file, will be
reported by the Windows File Explorer as being around 724,000 KB, and should
show an exact size of 741,791,132 bytes.
WARNING: This is a huge file that may take several hours to download, even on a broadband connection. The probability of a failed download due to missed packets/acks/naks, router timeouts, random DHCP address changes, etc is far greater than with "normal" sized downloads. There is a good chance that the download WILL stop somewhere in the middle of the transfer.
You must use a browser that supports the RESUME feature to continue the download without starting all over from the beginning. If you download this using a Web browser, I strongly recommend downloading and installing the free Opera browser available at:
Opera's file download manager is far more robust and
reliable than the ones in either Internet Explorer or FireFox. It's
download screen toolbar offers a "Stop" (as distinct from "Cancel") button.
Clicking this button produces a "Resume" button that will usually "unstick" and
continue a frozen or hung download.
Monitor the bytes transferred summary at the bottom of the Opera "Transfers"
window. if it stops increasing for more than 10-15 seconds, click "Stop"
and then "Resume" to continue the transfer.
(I use Firefox for all my everyday browsing but use Opera exclusively for
heavy-duty downloading.)
